Sola Drageklubb - Kitefestival in Norway on the 7th and 8th of June.
I know the secret recipe for a successful kite festival in Norway during 25 years: Enthusiastic and motivated people over there; Working hard at the kite workshop on Saturday making more than 200 kites a day, Play and show the kites on Sunday. (and in the evening a beer or two). I am looking forward to join them, to help them and to drink a beer with them!!
The annual kite festival will be held on the first weekend of June.
Norway's
largest and oldest annual kite festival begins with a large kite
workshop in Sola Culture House on Saturday and continues with kite
festival on the Hellstø beach on Sunday. International kite fliers will
be attending both days.
Kite festival usually gathers together about 3-5000 participants and is one of the region's most popular outdoor family events.
Saturday:
Build your own kite in Sola Culture House from 11am - 15.pm. There will
be several models to choose from, and you can come and go all day, no
registration. It takes from half an hour to an hour to make a kite.

Sunday
Kite
Festival at Hellestø beach from 13 - 16pm. Demonstration from the
international kite fliers, great prices for self-made kites and diploma
for all children. Kites, food and drink for sale!
Parking NOK 50, participation is free.
You can't have it all.. I was just one day to late at the flower field in "de Klinge". The flowers were already cut and most of them already harvested.
In het aangeleverde pakket kan je volgende zaken vinden:
- X aantal plankjes met 10 meter vliegerlijn.
- X aantal rode zeiltjes
- X maal 2 fiber stokjes
- X maal 25 cm stevige kleefband
- 1 plankje met X maal 2,5 meter bridle lijn.
Op het touw hebben we rode markering aangebracht.
Gelieve het touw door te branden op deze markering (zodanig dat je x bridles krijgt van 2,5 meter)
