Wetteren

What a airplane cemetery??... Using an automatic rotation on you KAP can give you some interesting insights of the neighborhood .

To make these pictures, I used a camera (Canon G15) lifted at 150 meter high by a kite (strandvlieger). The kite is attached/and secured to my body.  In this case the lifting power was produced by a red rokkaku kite.
The camera rotates and is triggered automatically, but I can take over all functionalities from the ground.   Yes, I do see what the camera is shooting (video downlink) .

Dille & Kamille

Holy Purple

A new kite based on the plan of the holy man. The main difference is the sizing of the top and bottom triangle.
The frame consist of 7 Skyshark P2x rods

Here under a projection of the holy purple on a standard rokkaku.
Some quick comments:
Not as wide, different spreader lenghts, different shape and height of the triangle sail parts.

vented Rok

In the old days they used fine cotton to make these very stable kites like the cody.
I don't have that fine cotton, but I hope to get close to that with modern fabric.
