Workshop

In de aanloop naar de vliegerhappening op Linker Oever toe,  hebben we een 16 tal klassen begeleid in het maken van hun eerste vliegertje.  Man; Na al die jaren blijft het een kick geven om al die glimlachende kinderen te zien hollen met die vliegertjes in de hand.

Vandaag was het de laatste klas!   Vandaar dit filmpje!

Soest

I was invited for a kite workshop with the kids (6th grade) of the international School in Brussels. The locations of this 4 day event was in the Stayokay hostel - Soest (The Netherlands); 100 meters walk from the Dunes. After a small presentation on the general kite world of today we had some talks on the kites used in the different parts of the world; Always interesting to see the feedback of the kids- having roots there.    For each group we had foreseen 2 workshops: An individual project (sled kite) and a team project (kite arch).
Although I wasn't able to stay till the end, I received the above video showing the result of those great days...

70 meter of tail spotted above 'het verdronken land van Saeftinghe'  it was a very surrealistic view.

Blankenberge II

 While my camera was hanging a 150 meter above ground to shoot some pictures of  the Pier in Blankenberge, I discovered an other small pier.   I immedeatly loved the color play. (although it was a grey day).

Blankenberge

Today I went to Blankenberge - of all places - to make some KAP pictures.   No wind and very grey weather => still happy with the result.
(Red Dopero, 150 meter high)

This is a unique structure consisting of a 350 meter long pedestrian bridge into the sea, which leads to the monumental round building.   Built in 1933 and rebuilt in 2003.
